Apollo.io Integration

Connect Apollo.io to search people, enrich contacts, manage accounts, and track deals — all from Theo chat. Uses API key authentication.

Connecting Apollo.io

Open the connector

Go to Skill Store → Flow Connectors → Apollo.io and click Connect.

Get your API key

Log into app.apollo.io → click your avatar → Settings → Integrations → API Keys → Create API Key.

Paste the API key

Copy the key and paste it into the setup form. It will be stored encrypted and never shown again.

What You Can Do

  • • Search people by job title, company, location, or keywords
  • • Enrich a person by email or name + domain
  • • Search your saved contacts by keyword, stage, or label
  • • Create new contacts with name, email, company, and title
  • • Search for organizations/accounts by name or domain
  • • List deals (opportunities) in your pipeline

Using Apollo.io from Theo Chat

"Search Apollo for VP of Engineering at SaaS companies" → Searches the people database
"Enrich jane@acme.com" → Returns full profile with employment history
"Show my Apollo contacts" → Lists saved contacts
"Create a contact for john@startup.io" → Creates a new contact
"List my Apollo deals" → Shows pipeline opportunities

API Key Management

Your API key is stored encrypted and never displayed again after setup. If you need to change it, disconnect and reconnect with a new key.

Disconnecting

Go to Skill Store → Flow Connectors → Apollo.io and click Disconnect. You can also revoke access from Apollo.io → Settings → Integrations → API Keys → delete the key.

Troubleshooting

Invalid API key

Make sure you copied the full API key. Apollo keys are long alphanumeric strings.

Search returns no results

Try broader search terms. Apollo's people search only returns indexed profiles.

Rate limiting errors

Apollo has API rate limits. Wait a moment and try again, or reduce the frequency of requests.
