Connect your Pinterest account to create pins, manage boards, view analytics, and grow your Pinterest presence — all from Theo chat.
Why Connect Pinterest?
Connecting Pinterest
Open the connector
Go to Skill Store → Flow Connectors → Pinterest and click Connect.
Authorize with Pinterest
You will be redirected to Pinterest. Sign in and grant access to your boards and pins.
Pick a default board
Select a default board for new pins.
What You Can Do
- • Get your Pinterest account info (username, followers, pin count)
- • List your boards
- • Create new pins on any board with image, title, description, and link
- • List pins on a specific board
- • Get pin analytics (impressions, clicks, saves)
- • Delete pins
Using Pinterest from Theo Chat
Token Management
OAuth tokens are automatically refreshed by OpenCharts. If a refresh fails, you'll see a reconnection prompt in the Skill Store.
Disconnecting
Go to Skill Store → Flow Connectors → Pinterest and click Disconnect. You can also revoke access from Pinterest → Settings → Apps → Connected Apps.
Troubleshooting
Pin creation fails
The image URL must be publicly accessible. Pinterest cannot fetch images behind authentication.
No boards found
Make sure your Pinterest account has at least one board created.
Analytics empty
Pin analytics take 24-48 hours to populate after a pin is created.
