Arcade: Node Blaster
Node Blaster is a wave-based action game built into OpenCharts. Pilot a node shape, blast through waves of enemies, collect power-ups, compete on leaderboards, and unlock 24+ achievements, all without leaving the app.
Game Overview
Objective
Survive as many waves as possible and rack up the highest score.
Combos + Shards
Chain kills for combo and collect shards before they decay to stack even higher scoring multipliers.
Bosses
Special boss waves appear periodically. Defeat them for massive score bonuses.

Keyboard
Targeting & Scoring
Auto-fire always targets the nearest enemy, so positioning matters more than aim.
Build combo by chaining kills quickly, then collect purple shards to keep a separate score multiplier alive.
When the combo bar flashes red, you’re about to lose momentum.
Node Shapes & Abilities
Choose your shape before each game. Each has different stats and a unique ability.
Diamond
Piercing ShotBalanced. Good all-around speed and firepower.
Bullets pass through enemies and hit multiple targets in a line.
Triangle
Dash BoostSwift. Faster movement speed, slightly less HP.
Dash cooldown recharges faster, allowing more frequent dashes.
Circle
Shield RegenAgile. Fastest turning, great for dodging.
Shield regenerates passively over time when not taking damage.
Rectangle
Mega BombTank. Highest HP, slower movement.
Bombs have a larger blast radius and deal more damage.
Your Avatar
Piercing ShotCosmetic. Uses your profile avatar as the player sprite.
Same stats as Diamond, but you look cooler.
Power-Ups
Rapid Fire (R)
Cuts auto-fire interval and lets you clear packs faster.
Shield (S)
Absorbs the next hit and prevents life loss.
Fast Move (F)
Boosts movement speed for repositioning and escapes.
Multi-Shot (M)
Fires a spread so each shot can tag more enemies.
Bonus Bomb (B)
Adds +1 bomb to your inventory (up to an overcap).
Magnet (⊕)
Pulls power-ups and shard pickups toward your node.
Time Slow (◷)
Temporarily slows enemies, opening safer windows.
Nuke (☢)
Damages every enemy on screen and weakens bosses.
