Working with Text
Double-click any text element to enter inline editing. A floating toolbar appears with bold, italic, underline, text color, font family, font size, and alignment options.
Text elements have a role property (title or body) that determines default sizing from the active theme. You can override font, size, and color per-element.
Working with Images
Drag an image file onto the stage, or add an image element and paste a URL. Images support object-fit (cover, contain, fill), border radius, and an inline image editor with crop, filters, annotations, and more.
See the Image Editor article for full details.
Shapes & Icons
Add shapes from the slide action bar. The shape library includes 90+ variants across basic shapes, arrows, flowchart symbols, and decorative elements.
Each shape supports solid or gradient fills (linear/radial with custom stops), stroke color/width/style, corner rounding, and drop-shadow presets. You can snap a text element to a shape to create labeled shapes.
Icons: Add Lucide icons as elements with customizable color and size.
Backgrounds

Upload a background image or drag-and-drop. Also supports AI-generated backgrounds via the Sparkles button.
Solid Color
Pick from theme-derived swatches or enter a custom hex. The picker shows 25+ preset colors.
Gradient
Use the gradient designer with configurable direction, stops, and presets. Supports linear and radial gradients.
AI Generated
Click the AI button in the background picker to generate a custom background image with a text prompt.
Transitions
Set a transition per-slide from the properties panel. Directional transitions automatically reverse when navigating backward. Three speed settings are available: Slow (0.8s), Normal (0.4s), and Fast (0.2s).
