Collaboration
Work together with your team in real-time. Share flowcharts, collaborate live, and see changes as they happen.
Sharing a Flowchart
1. Open the Share Dialog
Click the "Share" button in the top-right corner of the editor, or use the keyboard shortcut ⌘/Ctrl + Shift + S.
2. Invite by Email
Enter the email addresses of people you want to invite. They'll receive an invitation email with a direct link to the flowchart.
3. Set Permission Level
Choose whether invitees can View only or have Edit access to the flowchart.
4. Share via Link (Optional)
Generate a shareable link that you can send through any channel. You control whether the link allows viewing or editing.

Real-Time Collaboration
When multiple people are viewing or editing the same flowchart, you'll see their presence in real-time. Here's what to expect:
Presence Indicators
See avatars of all collaborators currently viewing the flowchart in the top bar.
Live Cursors
See where others are working with color-coded cursors that follow their movement.
Selection Highlights
Nodes selected by collaborators are highlighted with their assigned color.
Instant Sync
Changes appear instantly for all collaborators—no need to refresh.
Managing Access
Adding Collaborators
Open the Share dialog at any time to invite more people. New invitations are sent immediately via email.
Changing Permissions
In the Share dialog, click on a collaborator's current permission level to change it. Changes take effect immediately.
Removing Access
Click the remove button next to a collaborator's name to revoke their access. They'll no longer be able to view or edit the flowchart.
Link Sharing Options
Private (Default)
Only people explicitly invited can access the flowchart. The link alone won't grant access—users must be authenticated and on the access list.
Anyone with Link
Anyone who has the link can access the flowchart. Choose whether they get View or Edit permissions. Useful for quick sharing but less secure.
Public
The flowchart is publicly accessible. Anyone can view it without needing to sign in. Great for embedding or sharing publicly.
Collaboration Tips
- 1
Communicate your intentions
Let collaborators know which section you're working on to avoid conflicts.
- 2
Use the selection highlight
The colored borders show what others are working on—avoid editing the same nodes simultaneously.
- 3
Start with View access
When sharing externally, start with View access. You can always upgrade permissions later.
- 4
Review before sharing links
Double-check permission settings before generating public or "anyone with link" access.
Accessing Shared Flowcharts
Flowcharts shared with you appear in the "Shared with me" section of your sidebar. You can also access them from:
- Email invitation links
- Direct share links
- Recent files (if you've viewed them before)
